At Red Zone Kickboxing, our goal is to make you as comfortable and excited as possible. We understand that joining a new gym or group fitness class can be nerve-wracking and create a few questions. Below is a list of the most frequently asked questions other Red Zoners have had in the past.

How many people are in each class?

Our classes will have between 15 and 25 members. We are never overcrowded and have plenty of workout room.

What if I have no kickboxing experience?

No worries!! We always have beginners in class that are guided by staff members who want to help you learn.

Do you help me with nutritional habits?

Not only do we help you understand how to eat, but we will help you build a customized meal plan. We also can work with you with weekly accountability checks as we chart your progress made in class.

Do I have to do the group heart rate monitoring?

No, it’s completely voluntary but you will want to because it’s very informative, fun, and motivating to see the direct results of each class, in real time during your class! This allows you to max out the best workout for you!

Are your classes an aerobic style of kickboxing?

Each one of our classes is a balance of cardio training and resistance training which help you burn fat and tone muscles. Combined with proper nutrition, you should see results in a short period of time in comparison to cardio alone. Cardio is an important part of weight loss, yes, but for real results, you are going to need resistance training to turn your body into a fat-melting machine.

How often should I attend class?

The number of classes you take is totally up to you. Our members will attend class based on their own personal schedule but coming 2 to 3 classes a week will really dramatically increase your results.

Do I need to be in shape before attending my first class?

No, you do not. That is exactly why you should attend the classes, to get in shape. Our classes are designed to help get members of all different levels of fitness into shape at your own pace. Both beginners and advanced students are challenged according to their individual abilities.

What are membership prices?

We offer a variety of plans to suit every member’s needs. The most current information is available at the Red Zone Kickboxing studio.

How old do you have to be to join?

Members must be at least 13 years old in order to attend the classes.

Are classes co-ed?

Yes, both men and women are welcome to workout with us!

Do you offer child care?

Not at this time. However, appropriate age level kids can wait for their parents in our spectator seating area. Feel free to talk to one of our friendly staff members regarding your own childcare situation and we will be happy to help you out.
